The moment you receive a lead, despite the notes, it’s always best to try and get hold of the homeowner straightaway. After all, we’ve just literally hung up the phone with them. They may well say to call back when it’s convenient to them, but at least you’ve made contact with them.

You may decide to wait until the indicated hour… but will your competitors?

In reality, that means the minute we put the phone down on your next prospective customer, we’re delivering all their contact and job details directly to your online admin area.

But we don’t expect you to sit waiting by the computer screen ready to pounce.

At the same time, you can also select to receive notification of a lead by email (to the email address/s of your choice) and by SMS text message too.

The reason we always suggest adding a mobile phone number for your FREE SMS alerts is simple. Whether you’re relying on receiving email notifications on your mobile device (because you may be out on jobs or appointments), or emails to an office PC, it’s important to remember that not all email is instantaneous.

Especially if you’ve got your mobile email device to check for new emails every certain time period.

But by selecting SMS delivery, you’ll get a text alert straightaway.

It’s also worth remembering (again with mobile devices) that it won’t always be possible, due to signal limitations of your provider, to receive emails, but a SMS text will pretty much always get through.

It’s your choice, but if your still waiting for an email when your competitors have already received their SMS alerts and are already calling the homeowner, then that’s likely to put you at an unfair disadvantage.
