We’d like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during a temporary limitation to our lead delivery services, earlier today (Wednesday 6th July).

The disruption was caused by a large power failure affecting, amongst many others, our own co-hosted facility in Docklands, London.

We understand that battery backups were exhausted as engineers fought to get all systems up and running. Our own outage lasted for approximately 30 mins, during which time we were already putting a well-rehearsed back up system into operation.

We’re pleased to report we’ve just received confirmation that full service has been restored.

Bonus Leads occur when during phone call qualification with the homeowner, whilst the homeowner is keen to get the work done, for reasons of budget, size or specific requirement etc, the lead wouldn’t meet our strict quality criteria.

Examples include a fitted kitchen with a low budget, or perhaps a smaller than usual paving area and there are always other oddities like solar panels or loft conversions, where a full conversion is not requested etc.

Bonus Leads are marked as such in the job description notes and then matched against your area’s and products in exactly the same way as our normal lead delivery.

Most importantly – Bonus Leads are FREE. That’s right, we don’t charge you for any Bonus Leads (marked as such). It’s entirely up to you whether you offer a quote or not, but remember, it’s a genuine homeowner wanting the work done still.

Because Bonus Leads are free, they cannot be returned for credit. One small change we have made is that Bonus Leads no longer count towards your weekly delivery limits, so you can rest assured the limits you’ve set yourselves – we will always try to fulfil that request with our normal qualified leads.

Price Engines staff arrived at work today to learn that their car remote key fobs would now open the automatic sliding doors our new offices here at Stenson Marina.

“Just a quick note to let you all know that after speaking with the door manufacturers last night, we have reprogrammed the automatic doors so that they will now open from pressing the ‘UNLOCK’ button on your car remote.

Apparently the door system incorporates a learning technology so if your car key fob doesn’t work first time, you may need to hold the UNLOCK button down for 10 seconds, holding the key fob near to the small key hole on the side of the door frame.”

Not to be outdone, Solar Panel Quoter’s Blog ran an interesting article on new solar panel technology, developed by NASA that allows solar panels to generate energy from the Moon’s glow (see here).
