About a month ago, we launched the new and completely redesigned WindowQuoter website.
Improved and easier to use with a whole new ‘basket style’ interface that homeowners can use to drag and drop preferred window styles before being prompted for measurements and material choices.
It’s proving to be a big hit with homeowners so far and we continue to evaluate its use and performance against our old WindowQuoter online quotes website which has, and continues to do, sterling work.

Here at Price Engines, our mission is to make sure you have every opportunity to do business.
So we’re constantly updating and adding new useful features to our systems and your Customer Admin Area to ensure that.
One such area is where companies are using our pre-pay option to budget their lead delivery.
Previously, these companies have had to keep an eye on their own balances and if they’d exhausted it without realising, it wasn’t until they stopped receiving sales leads that they were alerted.
So, to stop the interruption to your lead flow, we’ve introduced a new ‘low-balance’ alert service.
Login to your Customer Admin Area and under Account Details > Update account – at the very bottom you’ll see a new field ‘Low Balance Alert Level’ – simply enter an amount in pounds that once your account falls below, you’d like to receive an email alert.
Press ‘Save’ to save your changes.
You can amend this figure at any time or switch off any of the account alerts we offer as part of our service.
Price Engines – giving you every opportunity to do business.

We’ve added some new options under our Conversions and Extension Leads.
From today, you can now opt to just receive extension leads where the homeowner has already got planning permission or general extension leads (no planning permission) or both.
Login to your Customer Admin Area and in Account Details > Select lead types and under Conversions & Extensions, you’ll find the new option: extensions – have planning permission.
Simply drag this option into your selection to add these lead types to your profile.
If you’re happy to continue working non-planning permission leads (as previously), then leave ‘Extensions’ in your selection also.
We’ll be qualifying with home owners on the phone if they’ve got planning permission or not before we match them against live accounts, so you won’t get the same homeowner details twice by having both product types selected.
Extension leads with planning permission gained – the latest qualified sales leads now available from Price Engines Ltd.
p.s to ensure current live companies don’t miss out, we’ve already updated your accounts with the new extension option!

As previously announced, all offers referring to expiry dates in March (and a couple in February) have now been removed from homeowner display.
To help you keep track of when offers should be removed, we’ve introduced a new ‘diary’ feature.
Now, when you update your Offer Bank with your special offers, you’ll see there’s a small ’set expiry date’ menu. You must set an expiry date to publish your offer.
We’re working on improving this still further by creating a set of automated email reminders to you so you get advanced warning of an offer expiring and the opportunity to submit a new one / update an existing offer before your old offer expires.
Don’t forget – Your offers are now published next to your profile details in a homeowners individual login area so it’s a great way to really set your company apart from the other 2 companies we’re able to recommend to them.

Our ‘Offer Bank’ feature continues to be a huge success – your offers promoted to our website visitors completely free.
However, some offers still mention closing dates of March and even February. From next week, these expired offers will be deleted by Price Engines.
It’s important your offers are up to date as we’re updating the homeowner login area to display your offers on your company details information.
If you haven’t already, login to your Customer Admin Area to update your account with your latest offers.
We’ll continue to showcase your current offers via our website and homeowner newsletters. The deletion process will be carried out by hand so rest assured any current offers will remain.
To update or promote your current customer offers, login – and under Account Details > Update Profile, type your offer in the Offer Bank panel. Press ‘Save’ (bottom right-hand corner) to finish.

With forecasts of more bad weather to come, news reports are predicting a stay-at-home DIY Easter for homeowners and that’s good news for you.
Price Engines will be qualifying and delivering fresh sales leads to you from visitors to our ‘Quoter websites, throughout the Easter Holiday period as normal.
If you’re not open, don’t forget you can switch your account ‘off’ and use our handy ‘Auto Go Live’ feature on your Customer Admin Area to switch your account back on ready for your return.
Auto Go Live function will appear automatically whenever you switch your account ‘off’ using the on/off button on the Home Page of your Customer Admin Area.
Whilst our call centre will be calling homeowners and qualifying leads, as normal, throughout the Easter Bank Holiday period, the rest of Price Engines departments will be shut from 5pm tonight (Thursday 1st April), re-opening on Tuesday 6th April.
Fresh sales lead delivery to you will remain unaffected.
Whatever you’re doing, have a Great Easter and if you are switching your accounts off for Easter, don’t forget to use our ‘Auto On’ function so your account is live for when you return.
If you’ve not used our services in a while, we think you’ll be amazed at the new online services we offer and the unprecedented levels of control we now give all companies over the running of their own accounts. Find out more by emailing us or calling 01332 267694

We’ve been promoting our new feedback tools heavily to both companies and homeowners alike these last few weeks, but even we weren’t prepared for one particular homeowner’s feedback that was left over the weekend.
“We were pleased we used (driveway company). He was prompt, quick and competitive. While he was doing the job, he took 8 others on the same road 4 of which were adjacent to our house. They all feel he did an excellent job.”
If that feedback was left for you, then you should be logging in and Showcasing your feedback straightaway.
We’ll continue to remind homeowners to leave their feedback before, during and after the works been completed. Who knows, perhaps we’ll be highlighting a comment left for you next time?
It’s really easy to ‘Showcase’ any of your desired homeowner feedbacks – Login to your Customer Admin Area and under Feedback > View feedback, search using the date range settings. You’ll see that you can view all the feedback that’s been left you by homeowners. Click Showcase to select a particular feedback for showcasing.
You can showcase as many as you like and they’ll appear at the top of your homeowner profile page, when homeowners login to see who we’ve passed their details to.
We’ve always known that our leads are the best value, qualified sales leads available but even we have to admit that 9 jobs from one lead, costing just £23, is a bargain!

You’ll already know what a good sales aid a positive testimonial is when presenting your product or service to prospective homeowner customers. So we’ve updated your Customer Admin Area with a NEW feature to give you the opportunity to ’showcase’ your best feedbacks from past homeowners. You can even add your own comment or reply to their feedback.
How to use the new Showcase feature:
Login to your Customer Admin Area and under Feedback > View feedback, search using the date range settings. You’ll see that you can view all the feedback that’s been left you by homeowners.
Click Showcase to select a particular feedback for showcasing.
You’ll then be presented with a window where you can showcase a feedback, showcase with your own comment attached or report (with the option to add your own comment also).
Report a feedback if you feel a comment has been left for you in error, with an explanation of why you feel it is inappropriate.
Make your selection, add your own comment (where applicable) and then click ‘go’ to showcase / report that feedback.
You can showcase as many as you like and they’ll appear at the top of your homeowner profile page, when homeowners login to see who we’ve passed their details to.
Your showcased feedback also appears in a tinted background box to help it stand out from the rest of your feedback, you decide not to showcase. Showcased feedbacks will always appear at the top. Why not login and showcase some feedback now?
