Our I.T manager had a nasty shock the other night when he pulled up at the side of the road to post a letter. As he was getting out of his car, so an old lady (who had been walking with another old lady, both carrying heavy shopping bags) opened his rear door and threw her shopping bags onto his seat.

She then started to get into his car just as he was getting out.

She thought he was coming to open the door for her, but realising he wasn’t who she thought he was exclaimed “Your not my son!”.

Her friend was apparently in hysterics whilst our I.T Manager recovered her shopping from his car.

No harm done – apart from an overdose of Harry Enfield quotations mostly including the phrase “he’s a lovely young man”.
